Inherited the title of "Tunku Dara" from His Royal Highness Tuanku Ja'afar ibni Almarhum Tuanku Abdul Rahman upon the death of Tunku Dara Rafeah binti Almarhum Tuanku Antah in 1967.

ReplyDeleteI am your old friend from Scarsdale Junior High. Do you still remember me? We used to love to dance at lunch and we corresponded for many years while you were in London. Then, if you remember, my husband and I were in London while you coincidently were too and I met with you in your apartment and then you were kind enough to include my husband and me in your evening festivities with your friends.
I see on the web many of your accomplishments and am very impressed that you have led a very regal and charmed life. I so hope you've enjoyed all the pomp and circumstance that comes along with the title.
I know you've had a number of children; I had none, but I have few regrets about that. I've led a lovely life, but my husband passed in 2007 and I'm still in search of someone where we can both enhance each other's lives.
Since I don't have a website, I gave you the website of my brother in NY. But if you answer this, I'd prefer if you would email me.
Do you ever come to the San Francisco bay area? If so, I'd love to take you and your husband out to dinner.
